Donald H. Hettrick
Don has been practicing Landscape Architecture in Connecticut since 2003 after graduating from the University of Massachusetts. He joined LLA in 2015 after working with Tom from 2003 - 2010 at M. R. Roming Associates in West Hartford, CT.
His experience has been mainly in the public sector focusing on schools, athletic facilities, municipal facilities and housing. During his career, he has acquired extensive knowledge of state and federal ADA requirements and applied that knowledge not only in the design and construction phases, but also inspection of existing facilities for compliance.
Don’s rendering and 3-D skills provide clients with realistic views of their project which allow them to see the two-dimensional plan come to life. He is able use actual products and finishes of the materials to be used and provide "walk-through" and "fly-through" views.
